We all wish to have that glowing and fresh look on our face. Everyone wants to get highlighted cheeks without using a highlighter. Right? So, today I am going to share my secret of achieving a glowing face without using any cosmetic products and without wasting any money.

And that is a daily face massage!

Face massage helps to circulate the blood and vanish all the dark blemishes of the skin. It helps to give a natural and fresh glow to the face. Also, it helps to

  • Reduce signs of ageing
  • De-stress
  • Remove all the puffiness around the eyes
  • Slim down the face
  • Show the jawline.

Spend your me time by massaging your face to glow up

So, let’s start. Here are the steps that you should follow, it’s really easy and effortless and you should try to do it at least twice a week, if not daily.

Step 1: Clean your hand and face

You have to make sure that your hands are clean and free of germs and bacteria. Wash your face properly with any face wash of your choice. So that there is no dirt in the pores of your skin.

Step 2: Apply oil or moisturizer for massage

Apply a little bit of oil or moisturizer on your face for massaging. If you have dry skin I’d recommend using almond oil and for normal or oily skin, you can use jojoba or castor oil. If you are uncomfortable in using oil on your face you can use your favourite moisturizer.

Apply the oil all over your face. Use only the tips of your fingers and apply lightly, do not press too hard, keep in mind a facial massage is different as compared to full body massage.

Step 3: Massage your forehead

Now start from your forehead by gently stretching in a zigzag motion with your fingertips. Go backwards and forwards repeatedly in opposite directions. It helps to tighten up your forehead skin and also relaxes stress line muscles on your forehead.

Step 4: Pinch your eyebrows

Next step is to gently pinch your eyebrows with your thumb and pointer finger. It stimulates circulation and helps to relax your eye area. It also helps in reducing puffiness, rejuvenates the eyes and naturally postpones the onset of wrinkles.

Step 5: Cheeky Push-ups

Now using the three middle fingers, massage the sides of your face using circular strokes. Push up your skin, never down; since this can cause sagging to occur. Massage for around a minute on both cheeks. This improves the blood flow to your face and gives freshness. Also, it helps to tighten up your skin and gives a glowing look.

Step 6: Massage the neck

In the end, all the toxins flush from under the chin and neck. This area collects all the bad toxins and pushes it down. So slightly massage your neck area, using circular strokes, from upwards to downwards for around a minute to remove all the toxins from your face.

If followed properly and regularly, the massage routine above actively works to promote slimming, toning and adds a glow to the face.
