Topics of Interest
We are always looking for posts that teach and give value to our readers. We would like to avoid posts on topics that have been covered many times over.
We accept posts on a wide range of categories, like Beauty, Fashion, Food & Drinks, Health & Fitness, Makeup, Lifestyle, Travel, and Adventure.
If you think you have a great topic that will benefit the StyleTawk audience and it doesn’t fall into one of the above categories, feel free to send it anyway.
Content Policy
We hate plagiarism! Never copy content from other sites and submit it as an article/post.
Articles/Posts submitted to StyleTawk should not have been published anywhere else.
Each article should have at least 500 words. If you are doing a video/photo tutorial or an image-based article, you can reduce the number of words.
Submission of copied/duplicate articles will lead to the suspension of your account.
Content Submission Process
First of all register yourself as a member of StyleTawk and then submit your full draft in a Word doc (preferred) or Google doc format and the information below to [email protected]
Proof of Identity: A scanned copy/ image of your government-issued photo ID proof and your contact details.
Your Bio: Bio should be approximately 60 words.
Supporting images, interactive content, or videos: Don’t worry about the cover image, we’ll take care of that. But here are tips on the other kinds of media you may want to include:
- Images (PNG, JPG): Provide high-resolution images you would like to include in your article separately as an attachment to the email. When saving your images, please provide a descriptive name.
- Videos, and interactive content: Include the embed code for the videos within your Word doc.
Once you have submitted your article it will be queued for review and if your article meets all the requirements then it will be published for sure and you will be notified. In case, if any modifications are required, we will get back to you.
Also, please note that we get 10+ posts per day and we are trying our best to filter them for publishing soon. So kindly forgive us for the delay.
If your article does not appear on the website and you have not heard from us even after a considerable amount of time, then there are chances that your submission has been rejected. In such a case please go through our guidelines to assess what is wrong and resubmit your article after correction.
Article Copyright
We would be holding the copyright of the article and the images that you sell to us so you are bound not to reproduce or re-sell the article in any form either online or offline.
Payment
We generally pay Rs 500 per article for standard posts and Rs 1500 for video tutorials to Indian residents and US$ 10.0 per article for standard posts and US$ 15.0 for video tutorials (through PayPal) to non-Indian residents.
Payments to our writers would be made monthly, at the end of every month. Those writers who have written articles in a given month are required to send the following details to us at the end of the month in order to receive their payments
- Article names along with links to each article
- Total payment to be made
Along with Bank Details (applicable for Indian residents)
- Account Holder’s Name
- Account Number
- Bank
- Branch
- IFSC Code
Or PayPal account details (applicable for non-Indian residents). Please note PayPal account should be in your own name, family member’s or friend’s account won’t do.
Please note, we would not be making payments automatically from our side. In order to receive your payment, you have to send us the above details without fail.
Work Experience Certificates
We would be giving 6 months of full-time work experience certificate to writers who complete 150 posts on StyleTawk™, and a one year certificate to those who complete 300 posts, and so on. This would not apply to writers writing less than 150 posts. Also, for those writers who cross 150-posts milestone but do not reach the next/ subsequent milestones, the work experience certificates would be provided on a pro-rata basis. For example, if you write only 200 posts you’d get a work-experience certificate of 8 months. The designations would be writer/ senior writer.
Some Important Points
1. Before sending us a post, please ensure that the topics are not common with the ones already been written on the website. Use the ‘search’ option to determine if a topic/review has already been covered.
2. Please do not submit pictures taken from the phone, or blurry, unclear pictures. We need sharp, clear pictures taken from a camera.
3. Please do not send us images copied from the net. If you are writing a general article with images used from the internet, please provide us the source of the image.
4. Send the images separately as an attachment in the email or as a zipped file instead of placing them in the document file.
5. If you are submitting a product review, please spend your time writing about your experience, pros, and cons. Do not fill pages with ingredients or claims of the manufacturer. Attach images of ingredients and claims.
